HIRING NOW SECURITY TECHNICIAN Education, experience and competencies required: ➢ Grade 10 or equivalent. ➢ Proof of current PSIRA registration with a Grade E security officer training certificate from an accredited training provider. ➢ Applicant must be in possession of a Code EB drivers’ license with proven driving experience and be prepared to travel. ➢ Ability to work independently. ➢ Applicant must be prepared to work as per operational requirements. ➢ At least 2 years’ experience in installation, maintenance and repairs of electronic security systems- CCTV cameras, Gate Automation, EAS, Access control, Intercom systems and electric fencing. ➢ Applicant must be computer literate. ➢ Furthermore, the successful applicant will possess the following personality attributes: o Presentable with above average attention to detail. o Excellent planning and organizational skills in order to service client needs promptly – complete work fully first time around. o Team builder. o Have the ability to work under pressure (good stress management skills). o Customer service focused. o Flexibility.
