I will have to have a dig around in my stuff for the spacers but I reckon if you are going after internal cable routing the least you can do is slam that stem. There is a mark on the drops where the shifter clamp was over tightened but I have had it looked at and ridden it like this for over 15 000 km and it has held up perfectly.
