Our client a food manufacturer is seeking a Junior Buyer to join their team in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. Responsibilities: Sourcing top-tier ingredients and goods. Managing supplier relationships. Keeping inventory in check. Crunching numbers and making smart purchasing decisions. Negotiating prices. Keeping an eye on trends. Ensuring everything arrives on time. Requirements: A qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field 1-2 years of buying/procurement experience (FMCG experience is a bonus!) A sharp negotiator who can make suppliers love and fear you at the same time A detail-obsessed data whiz with analytical skills Bilingual (Afrikaans & English)—because good communication is key!
