We are currently recruiting a Strata Control Officer for a contract position in Sasolburg that meets the following requirements: Qualification, Experience & Requirements: High School/ School Diploma or similar - Grade 12 with Maths, Science & Geology Advanced National Certificate/ Higher Certificate (Rock Engineering & Health and Safety) Diploma or degree in Mining Engineering or Geology (wish) Strata Control officer certificate of competency for Coal (Chamber of mines) Registered with SANIRE (South African Institute of Rock Engineering) 2+ years relevant experience e.g. underground experience as an observer, experience in safety systems and risk assessments Must be local to the area
