Main purpose of the job: *Customer Service - ensure daily adequate/ controlled staffing in department. Ensure that customer complaints are minimised. *Liase on an ongoing basis with DC b'&' Suppliers on products, trends, competitors, quality/ quantity of stock. *Controlling orders, deliveries, displays, in-store promotional activities, product knowledge training, food safety training and wastage controls. *Conduct weekly stock takes in the department. *Maintain costings and GP's. Candidate Requirements: * Good communication skills *Ability to use own initiative *Scheduling - ensure that team are reporting for duty as scheduled *Have the ability to combat shrinkage *Discipline - ensure that all problems and queries are sorted consistently as per disciplinary procedures *Stock management by utilizing all relevant reports within the system *Ability to do costings and GP's Management skill - been in a bakery management position for at least 3 years
