Requirements: Current AHPRA registration or eligibility to register. Minimum 5 years of experience in an ICU, critical care, or high-dependency unit. Bachelors degree in Nursing (or equivalent). For internationally qualified nurses, qualifications will be assessed for equivalency to Australian standards. Advanced clinical assessment skills and experience in managing acutely ill patients. Proficiency in ventilator management, haemodynamic monitoring, and life support interventions. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments. English language proficiency as per AHPRA requirements (e.g., IELTS, OET, PTE Academic). Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing is highly desirable. Registered with SANC. Willing and able to relocate to Australia. Documents Required for Immigration: Valid Passport. Degree/Diploma, including full transcript, with English as the primary language of instruction. Official document showing clinical hours completed during tertiary education. SANC certificate and proof of renewal. Proof of English proficiency, demonstrating English as the main language of instruction in high school, tertiary education, and at the current workplace. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive and specialised care to critically ill patients in the ICU. Perform continuous patient monitoring, including ventilator support, haemodynamic assessment, and early identification of clinical deterioration. Administer high-risk medications, IV therapies, and advanced life support in accordance with hospital protocols. Respond rapidly to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate interventions. Collaborate with intensivists, anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans. Operate and maintain specialised medical equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, and cardiac monitors. Implement infection control measures and maintain strict adherence to ICU protocols. Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families during critical illness and recovery. Maintain accurate and legally compliant patient records and documentation. Supervise and mentor junior nurses, enrolled nurses, and other healthcare staff within the ICU setting. Notwithstanding the Employee's job description, the Employer may require the Employee, from time to time, to carry out tasks not covered in the job description without additional remuneration.
