Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 Suitable Food Technology/Science Degree At least 8 years experience in the food and beverage industry dealing in either an application, production or development position, particularly dealing with beverages (from juices to alcoholic drinks) Experience formulating compounds Understanding manufacturing processes Experience working on SAP Willing and able to sample alcoholic beverages Willing and able to travel to various African countries, including throughout SA Duties and Responsibilities: Managing projects in partnership with Application and Sales departments, ensuring consistent project oversight. Providing expert assistance with recipe development and packaging technology. Serving as a core technical resource for all client projects as needed. Guiding product development through various stages, working closely with the Sales team. Providing appropriate product solutions that align with client requirements, considering technical specifications, strategic opportunities, and existing product lines. Acting as the primary technical contact for clients, handling production and processing inquiries and resolving technical problems at customer facilities. Assisting select clients with product trials and approvals, and participating in client visits alongside the Sales team. Identifying and resolving technical issues related to product and production, and streamlining processes at client sites. Developing technical action plans based on thorough analysis of client production challenges, in collaboration with the client. Facilitating effective communication within the division and across related departments. Maintaining detailed records of efficient processes within the company's IT systems. Developing tailored production procedures and blending instructions based on client needs. Offering hands-on assistance for internal and external grievances related to on-site manufacturing problems, working alongside the Quality department. Aiding the business unit's service and solutions efforts within co-packing and bottling operations. Planning and conducting training sessions for internal staff and external partners, in partnership with technical, sales, and other relevant teams. Handling and organizing data.
