Responsibilities: Overseeing daily reception / front office operations Manage junior staff and ensure employee productivity Guest relations, reservations, day sheets, bookings and concierge services Check-in of guests: ensuring that this integral step in the guest experience is smooth and adheres to the lodge standards. Check-out of guests Contacting guests before they arrive Retrieving all the necessary information from Opera to complete the day sheet for the next day Check and respond to all emails pertaining to reception enquiries Review reservations, and escalate any issues raised Complete courtesy calls Complete daily checklists Requirements: Grade 12 & a Diploma / Degree relevant to the field of Hospitality At least 4 years experience in a Senior Reception / Front Office role at a 4 / 5* property Expert OPERA knowledge & skills The ability to work collaboratively and build confidence and buy in with multiple stakeholders. Strong ability to execute capabilities. Leadership and the ability to develop subordinates. Ability to work independently Accountable and able to take ownership.
