SHEQ OFFICER (TRAVEL BETWEEN FACILITIES REQUIRED) IN PORT ELIZABETH

My client, based in Markman, Port Elizabeth, requires a candidate who is prepared to travel between their 2 facilities (PE and Cradock). Own vehicle and valid license is a must Coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Company's Health and Safety policy. The position ensures that the Company and its Contractors comply with the requirements of legislation by monitoring contractor SHE compliance, attend and report at safety meetings and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance by conducting site audits The SHEQ Officer coordinates and participates in the investigation of incidents, accidents and near misses, audit and conduct Review Contractor Risk Assessment. The SHEQ Officer monitors the implementation of Safe Work Procedures and maintains and updates all relevant SHEQ department administrative duties. Education and Formal Training · National Senior Certificate / Matric · SAMTRAC Certificate or equivalent occupational SHE training · National Diploma or equivalent in Health & Safety Management · First Aid level 2 Basic Certificate · Fire Prevention Certificate · Environmental & Quality qualification an advantage Offering between R 15 000pm at an entry level to R 25 000pm for very advanced experience.
