Requirements 2 Years’ experience working in a technical/ mechanical environment Familiarity with Tools / Basic Hand Tools / Equipment Knowledge of Quality & Safety systems Local to Port-Rex Power Station – Provide Proof Education Grade 12 (Matric) or Equivalent Tertiary Qualification will be advantageous Working at Heights training will be provided Working in confined spaces will be provided Skills Strong communication skills Ability to work as a team Ability to take instruction Ability to use measuring equipment Responsibilities Ensure that your Comply with Section 14 of the OHSA Act 85 of 1993 General assisting with fitting of components from power generation, mine workshop and other technical related experience Compliance to due date performance Carry out work as per supervisors’ instruction Assist with pressure testing of pressure equipment, valves, pumps etc. Assist with required tools required for execution of work
