RECEIVING STOCK CONTROLL IN PORT ELIZABETH

Basic Excel experience, excellent admin skills and attention to detail are essential. This job involves a lot of admin. We are looking for a competent Receiving Stock Controller, matriculated with a minimum of 2 years’ stock control/receiving experience in plumbing or a related industry. You will have plumbing product knowledge and good selling, communication and people skills. You also will be self-disciplined, target driven and have good industry and competitor knowledge. Excellent admin and organisational skills are essential as is the ability to delegate and prioritise. This position reports to the Branch Manager. The working hours are Monday to Friday and two Saturdays a month. You will be responsible for: the control and monitoring of stock levels and control of redundant stock; the maintenance of the stock file and the preparation and management for stock take; the capturing of suppliers’ delivery notes; ensuring goods are offloaded, quality checked, received onto the system and allocated; ensuring that products are labelled, binned and coded correctly; documentation management; meeting targets and budgets; managing and co-ordinating the process of goods to be returned to supplier in accordance with company policy & procedures; generating perpetual stock counts, investigating shortages and losses of stock; assisting at sales trade counter and on floor helping clients.
