QUALITY CONTROLLER/MANAGER IN PAARL

Quality Control Supervisor/Manager Paarl R15-25k neg. Join a stable, goal driven manufacturing/textile industry- Take full responsibility for the planning, controlling and driving of the company’s Quality Management System and team to ensure all completed orders delivered to clients meet their required quality standards. This includes close liaison with all role players, including customer quality auditors, investigating and resolving quality failures, training staff in quality standards, continuous improvement initiatives and management reporting. Responsibilities/requirements: - National Diploma in Clothing Production Management or equivalent knowledge and experience - Sound garment construction knowledge and practical experience, including fabric and trims - 5 to 10 years’ proven working experience in a clothing factory - 3 to 5 years’ proven working experience on a senior level - Good numerical ability to compile and interpret statistical data - Good report writing skills - Computer literate (MS Office, Internet, ERP/ Quality systems) - Able to work as part of a production team and achieve hourly targets - Able to work shifts and overtime when required - Reliable with an excellent attendance record If you meet requirements please contact Sam @ Southern Shore Recruitment urgently to secure your application.
