Ibanez EGEN18 Signature Solidbody Electric Guitar at a Glance: • Play the same guitar Herman Li plays. • An instrument fit for the ultimate shredder. • Made from only the good stuff. • Get your hands on this distinctive axe. Play the same guitar Herman Li plays. When DragonForce guitarist Herman Li wanted a guitar that could handle his otherworldly technique and musicality, both he and Ibanez knew it would take time to get everything just right. It took three years but they certainly did get it right. The Ibanez EGEN18 is played by Li exactly as it is, live on stage, in the studio, right off the shelf without any modifications. An instrument fit for the ultimate shredder. Dragonforce has enjoyed a great deal of popularity recently due to the fact that their song "The Fire and the Flames" is the song used for the most difficult level of Guitar Hero. That's a high compliment, indeed and a testament to Herman Li's mindblowing speed and technique. When you're as good as this guy, you need a precision tool that's perfectly suited to shred mercilessly. That's what the EGEN18 gives you. Made from only the good stuff. The EGEN18 features a thin mahogany body topped with an amazing looking flame maple top. Its 5-piece maple/walnut neck is super-comfortable, and it's topped by a rosewood fingerboard that's scalloped from the 21st to 24th frets. You also get premium hardware, including an Edge-Zero trem bridge with a stronger arm action (preferred by Herman). Between a pair of DiMarzio HLM Herman Li signature pickups lies a high-powered, low-profile middle pickup that won't interfere with picking. Get your hands on this distinctive axe. What becomes a shred king most? How about an axe you'll recognize a mile away? the EGEN18 features a deep lower cutaway for maximum fret access, while the upper horn has a special grip carved to fit Herman's hand. It's definitely a distinctive look. Call your Music Experience Sales Engineer and grab an EGEN18 for yourself!

This item is sold brand new. It is ordered on demand from our supplier and is usually dispatched within 7 - 12 working days Telling the gripping story of Robert King Wilkerson, Herman Wallace and Albert Woodfox, this book describes these men who have endured solitary confinement longer than any known living prisoner in the United States. Politicized through contact with the Black Panther Party while inside Louisiana's prisons, they formed one of the only prison Panther chapters in history and worked to organize other prisoners into a movement for the right to live like human beings. This feature length movie explores their extraordinary struggle for justice while incarcerated in Angola, a former slave plantation where institutionalized rape and murder made it known as one of the most brutal and racist prisons in the United States. The analysis of the Angola 3's political work, and the criminal cases used to isolate and silence them, occurs within the context of the widespread COINTELPRO being carried out in the 1960's and 70's by the FBI and state law enforcement against militant voices for change. In a partial victory, the courts exonerated Robert King Wilkerson of the original charges and released him in 2001; he continues the fight for the freedom of his two brothers. The ongoing campaign, which includes a civil case soon to come before the Supreme Court, is supported by people and organizations such as Amnesty International, the A.C.L.U., Harry Belafonte, Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield of Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream, Ramsey Clark, Sen. John Conyers, Sister Helen Prejean, (the late) Anita Roddick, Bishop Desmond Tutu and the ANC. Herman Wallace and Albert Woodfox have now endured as political prisoners in solitary confinement for over 35 years. Narrated by Mumia Abu-Jamal, The Angola 3 features interviews with former Panthers, political prisoners and revolutionaries, including the Angola 3 themselves, and Bo Brown, Geronimo (ji Jaga) Pratt, Malik Rahim, Yuri Kochiyama, David Hilliard, Rod Coronado, Noelle Hanrahan, Kiilu Nyasha, Marion Brown, Luis Talamantez, Gail Shaw and many others.
