This item is sold brand new. It is ordered on demand from our supplier and is usually dispatched within 7 - 12 working days Pigment: Metal complex, Disazopigment Lightfastness: *** Opacity: TransparentDescription: Highly transparent light yellow tone. Mixture of two modern, organic pigments. Non-polluting alternative to the original toxic chromium yellow. Colour Index: PY153/PY155 To achieve the outstanding characteristics, like reusable paint when dried on a palette and the high control of paint flow even on soft water-colour papers Schmincke only use the best raw materials. In its colouristic appearance the total assortment is particularly harmonious, balanced and complete. One main ingredient of the water-colour binding medium is Kordofan Gum Arabic from the southern Sahara region. Like most natural products this traditional water-colour binding medium differs from year to year. Therefore Schmincke is testing Gum Arabic every time before purchase and selects only the best crop of the respective year. This adds small but significant quality advantages. Other formula ingredients are selected equally carefully and of course are integrated in each formula in an individual optimised way to obtain a harmonious assortment, that can be easily picked up by the brush. Another traditional quality criterion is the re-usability of the Horadam Aquarell water-colours while using the same formulation for tubes and pans. Both properties, the reusability and the control of the paint flow can only be achieved by pouring water-colours into pans in a liquid state, which is really unique. This item is sold brand new. It is ordered on demand from our supplier and is usually dispatched within 7 - 12 working days In 1985, following extensive research, Old Holland presented a revolutionary range of 168 oil paints, each with the highest degree of lightfastness. Traditional, non-lightfast pigments were replaced with modern lightfast pigments with the same colour characteristics as the traditional ones. Thanks to the highest possible concentration of pigment in each colour, the paint has an unprecedented colour strength. Within the unique range of 168 colours, there is a wide range of opaque and transparent colours, each with the highest possible brilliance (intense) and clarity (clean) characteristics. The only medium used for these oil paints is cold-pressed extra virgin linseed oil, to obtain an optimum oxidisation (drying) of the paint. This increases durability and brushstroke spread. Together, these characteristics result in an oil paint of unequalled quality. Pigment Classification: Zinc oxide-Titanium dioxide-Natural ochre Colour Index: PW4-PW6-PY43 Colour index number: 77947-77891-77492 Lightfastness: Lightfast pigment according to ASTM Category 1 and 2 Opacity/Transparency: Opaque Features Summary In 1985, following extensive research, Old Holland presented a revolutionary range of 168 oil paints, each with the highest degree of lightfastness. It is ordered on demand from our supplier and is usually dispatched within 7 - 12 working days One of the unique characteristics of these watercolours is the unparalleled colour strength (maximum pigmentation). And while this high colour strength requires a slightly different approach on the part of the aquarellist (so little paint is needed from the tube or cup for the desired colour effect that you have to get used to the ratio of paint to diluent), the advantages are clear. This item is sold brand new. It is ordered on demand from our supplier and is usually dispatched within 7 - 12 working days The Sennelier oil pastel is a product that makes use of the components used in all Sennelier colours: top quality pigments, an extremely pure synthetic binding medium and mineral wax. The pigments are ground with an inert, non-siccative binding medium that does not oxidise and that has no effect upon either film stability or surface. This base is then mixed with wax (neutral pH). The balance of this mix provides Sennelier oil pastels with a unique unctuousness and a creamy texture that allows for a great deal of freedom in pictorial expression. The Sennelier oil pastels possess an extraordinarily high pigment content, thus providing them with a high colouring and covering potential, excellent brightness and a high degree of light stability (with the exception of metallic and fluorescent shades). The remarkable properties of these components, along with their precise dosage, provide Sennelier oil pastels with unique properties, making the brand a world-recognised reference.
