The TR-8 features incredibly accurately synthesized 808 and 909 drum sounds, which work perfectly with the TB-3. The bass sounds from the TB-3 are fat and warm, but they also go from clean to distorted using the built-in FX unit. The System-1 is Roland's Plug-Out synthesizer, which has everything from fat warm bass to distorted leads.
