Technical architect

We are currently looking for a motivated and driven Architect / Interior Designer to work on projects ranging from retail spaces to exhibition stands. We require a candidate that works efficiently, accurately and quickly. Good technical drawings and/or rendering skills are essential. Possibility of a half day position is available. Requirements: Diploma or B-Tech in Architecture Relevant experience in Interior architecture Relevant experience in Architectural drafting Excellent conceptual design and space planning Detailed design development - working drawings Work with large format graphics CAD Revit Microsoft suite Dynamic opportunity within a national company.

Senior Architectural Technologist- Port Elizabeth Our client is seeking to hire a Senior Architectural Technologist to assist with a 4- 6 month project. Minimum Requirements • At least 7-10 years experience • Must be registered with SACAP as a Snr. Architectural Technologist • Must be willing to work out of town • Must have project management experience • Advanced Technical skills Duties • Selecting the best materials and processes for the project • Surveying sites and identifying location benefits • Carrying out feasibility studies and risk assessments • Assessing environmental impacts and identifying legal issues • Analysing architectural plans and drawings, highlighting any possible risks or problems and making amendments using computer-aided design applications (cad) • Specifying the appropriate technology and tools to be used in the project and advising where this requires deviation from the initial design plans • Liaising with the architect, surveyors and other construction professionals, sometimes managing the design project team • Preparing documents to help with getting planning permission and similar approvals • Visiting sites to check progress and inspect work.
