The comfortable downstairs lounge, leads out onto a patio and braai area. There is a large splash pool for those hot summer afternoons. Evenings are best spent around the campfire, watching the sparks fly into the dusk, with a million stars to decorate the night sky. Cool off with a cocktail in the splash pool, or unwind with a book on the secure deck. There is nothing to beat the tranquillity of the African bush, a place to refresh your soul and restore your love of life. The impala, blue wildebeest, nyala and warthog wander freely while the Big 5 are restricted to the Kruger National Park. The house is within a short walk of the Crocodile River, which is the border of the Kruger National Park. Spend the early evening with sundowners alongside the river, enjoying the prospect of seeing the elephants bathing in the river or a lion kill. Buffalo, rhino, waterbuck, crocodile and hippo are also a common sight, together will a myriad of water birds and the amazing fish eagle.
