I have 1 stable available in Colleen Glen for your best friend to keep my two horses company. The monthly fee includes 1 large stable, bedding, feed (concentrates and hay) fed twice a day, regular grooming, daily stable cleaning and general daily care. I have no grooms, your horse will be cared for by myself along with my own horses. Horses graze during the day on approx. 1.2 hectares of pastures with ample shade from large trees. The stables are opened at night for shelter and feeeding purposes. Stable doors are left open so they can come and go as they please. Horses are blanketed in winter (blankets not supplied). There is space in the tack room for your saddles and bridals and a gate remote will be given for easy access. There is a small schooling grass arena available on the property and have close access to the Island Nature Reserve (permits are required). Your horse must come with proof of inoculations and is to be dewormed on arrival. Please call if you are interested and want to come and inspect the premises. Price approx. Our free range Ostrich stay with us from day old to oven ready in time for leaving. We sell young and adults Ostrich.Once they are old enough they are given freedom to graze in paddocks and fields around the farm. All our Ostrich are fed naturally on grass, grain from our own assured farm, and specially prepared ration with no additives or growth promoters.

Lush green pastures, two field shelters, feed/tack room, lunging ring and grass arena. Natural horse-keeping only - ie no shoes, rugs or stabling. Outrides are in Jonkershoek, unlimited distances but some trails are rocky. Could also suit owners looking for live-out retirement for their horse. Rate is for grazing and does not include any extra feed, which we split pro-rata, but mostly just give extra teff in winter.
