The Continental Gatorskin Tires use Duraskin anti-cut fabric to give the sidewalls extra protection against cuts. It's a polyamide (nylon) mesh that is bonded onto the sidewall plies. The bike is very light and handles like a dream. It has some marks on i due to the fact that i was used to race and being transported, but nothing major or to be worried about. It is a carbon bike with 2 sets of wheels included. The bike almost has no paint on the frame, due to the fact that you can see the carbon. It also comes with some extras: Two sets of wheels. Shimano dura ace c50 carbon tubbies both wrapped with continental tires. The Shimano rear wheel needs to have a bearing replacement in the no to distant future. The second sets is a set of mavic aksium race wheels, with Vitoria rubino pro tires. Also included is a set of carbon brake pads and regular brake pads. The bike comes with Shimano ultegra levers and rim brakes. The cassette is Shimano dura ace. Everything is included except the garmin out front mount. There is also a pair of giro prolight shoes with cleats included if you are interested. They are size EU size 44, UK 9.25. The do have so scuff marks. Includes Shimano SPD cleats and Cape Storm cycle shoes as part of sale. 16 speed (8 back / 2 front), on a good ratio for Cape Town, it gets me up the Tafelberg Road and Signal Hill Drive no worries, with plenty of gears left for the descent. Also comes with saddle bag, puncture repair kit and several spare parts including flat pedals if you want to swap out the cleats. The bike is in good condition, some scuffs to the paintwork and general wear but overall its in great order and has lots of life left in the components without any expense nessasary to keep it on the road. The tyres are less than half worn, brakes and pads are in good order and chain set is in good condition. The front tyre is a Continental Ultra, rear is unbranded.
