Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction in service and repair of vehicles and that they are carried out in a safe and economical/commercial manner. This will include employing your skills to diagnose vehicle faults and to fully resolve these faults. Main Tasks - Test and diagnose vehicles - Report on vehicle serviceability. - Interpret and implement technical service instructions. - Liaise with parts department for replacement parts. - Deliver vehicles to customers in a safe condition, free of fault and repaired to manufacturers guidelines - Record all work through the company’s job card/garage management system. - Follow all processes and procedures in line with the companies and the brands requirements. - Complete to the dealerships and the brands complete satisfaction all paperwork required to process all completed work including warranty Performance Standard: -Attain manufacturers servicing and repair times and safety standards - Complete job cards accurately and timely including details of hours and parts per job. - Protect customer vehicles and property from all damage be it accidental or otherwise. - Take care of all equipment and tools used. - Use materials, parts and equipment in an efficient manner. - Undertake full inspection of vehicle on receipt and before hand over to all customers. - At all times comply with the company’s Health and Safety policies. - Complete and pass all business and brand training courses as required. - Maintain a clean working environment at all times. - Present yourself in a clean and professional state at all times. - Protect the business reputation and brand through excellent work and customer service.
