They offer a line of products with international recognition as the best in their class for innovative designs, sustainability and product quality. Their cast iron cookware production process is proudly zero waste — it’s made from recycled iron that they melt and purify. It’s also PTFE and PFOA free and very long-lasting, making it an eco-friendly, sustainable choice for cookware. Specifications Dimensions: 41.2cm L x 27.9cm W x 7cm H Handle to handle length: 41.2cm Weight: 1.1kg Operating temperature: 0 - 350°C Heat source: Campfire, Ceramic, Induction, Oven, Grill, Gas and Electric Features Heat Source: Gas, Oven, Electric, Induction, Ceramic Glass Care Instructions Before first use: Remove all packaging and adhesives Wash the product with warm water, and soap, then dry carefully Avoid abrasive cleaners For best performance, always pre-heat your Victoria cast iron before using on low to medium heat For searing, allow your iron to heat for 4 to 5 minutes Thermal shock can warp iron. Do not expose your iron to intense thermal changes such as putting it under cold water while still hot from cooking or getting a very cold pan hot too quickly Due to sand moulding and traditional practices, each cast iron piece is unique. Your cookware may have some irregularities that are purely cosmetic and do not affect the use of the product Follow these steps to ensure your cookware stays clean and increasingly seasoned: Allow cookware to cool enough to handle, but still quite warm Hand wash with hot water & salt or mild soap Use a towel to dry thoroughly (important!) Rub a thin layer of oil inside the cookware & on the rim (Palm, Flaxseed, Coconut, Canola or other) Place on a stove (or in an oven) & heat up until lightly smoking Turn off heat. Carefully use a paper towel to wipe off excess oil (this avoids a sticky surface) Once completely cool, store in a cool, dry place How to restore cast iron: If there is rust or gunk, first scrub the whole cookware with a steel wool sponge Using a scouring pad, wash with soap & hot water Use a towel to dry thoroughly (important!) Even heat distribution, and a wide cooking area are just some of the excellent reasons to use a wok. This wok, made from traditional carbon steel, is big and solid enough to go on and on. Deep sloped sides made from carbon steel allow for a wide spread of food over the surface area, ensuring that food cooks quickly and evenly, while the flat base makes it suitable for use on most stovetops (glass, gas, and conventional). A strong, riveted handle with comfortable grip makes tossing and stirring the food simpler, while the handy hook in the end makes for neat storage. For induction hob use, it is advised against using a high heat power setting due to rapid rate of heat transfer when cooking.   Video Play Video Season your wok – This is a phrase you may have heard before because it is so important. It basically means ‘breaking it in’. Before you start using your new wok, wash it in warm soapy water (do not use an abrasive cleaner on the inside!) then place it on the cooker over a medium to high heat for a few minutes. When you see it smoking, add a couple of teaspoons of oil, and swirl it all around the wok (including the sides) to coat evenly. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Using a piece of kitchen paper wipe away the oil. This should be done at least twice before you begin cooking with it as this will ensure even heat distribution during stir frying, and helps to lock in flavours. Specifications Diameter: 30cm (12") Material: high quality carbon steel Features Heat source: Gas, Electric, Ceramic Glass Care Instructions All uncoated woks should be seasoned before use To do this, wash the wok and dry Place the wok on a medium heat setting and wait for all of the moisture to evaporate Once the pan is completely dry, apply oil evenly around the interior surface and heat on a medium setting until the oil begins to smoke The wok is now ready to use After each use clean with hot water only, allow to thoroughly dry and wipe the interior with oil to prevent rust and to build up a protective noon-stick patina It is common for the natural material to darken over time — this will have no impact on its usage Don't leave the wok to soak in water Gentle use of a non-abrasive scouring pad is allowed Always ensure that the size of the flame on the gas stove is properly controlled and does not flare up the side of the cookware and overheat the handle Never leave an empty wok or one that has boiled dry on a hot element or burner If left to boil dry, make sure you turn off the heat source immediately and do not touch the pan until it has completely cooled Warranty Info There is a ten-year guarantee on this product.
