My Elf 26 catamaran is for sale again at a very good price. It is situated at Grootdraai Dam close to Standerton. The boat is an open deck catamaran and about 30 years old. The sails are still very strong. There are two foresails, one main and a spinnaker. An option to buy a roller furling with good sail for R5000 exists. There is also a 9.9hp Tohatsu outboard engine that has less than 10 hours on the clock. (Not even a full tank petrol was used because there is always wind on Grootdraai) The price for the motor is R18 000. The boat was partly dismantled due to a time wasting false offer to buy the boat and to take it to Western Cape. If the new owner wants to keep it at Grootdraai the boat will be reassembled there. If the boat is transported to a new venue full instructions and help will be offered to reassemble the boat there. The two hulls are currently mounted on the launching trailer that is very heavy but convenient if the new owner prefers to take the boat on the dry. It can also be cut to use as cradles to keep the hulls on and then be transported to the new address on a normal flat deck 6+m trailer. The trailer can easily be reassembled again.
