These self catchers can be set up when you go sleeping or go too the loo. When the selfcatcher is pressed deep into the ground, you can set it up with the rod placed on the self catchers and the fishing line hooked around the pin. When the fish run with your line, the self catchers will pull the rod back too hook the fish in the mouth. Once that happened it will play the fish without taking your rod into the water.
