AU PAIR / TEACHER 3 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT Our client is a family seeking an au pair who will accompany the family (including the 2 primary school going children) overseas, for a three-month period from February 2022. The family will mostly be traveling in the USA and Europe. The Au Pair will need to look after the children whilst in their care and will solely be responsible for their educational programmes. The Au Pair will need to liaise with the children’s primary school and ensure that the children adhere to the set out distance learning programme (this is already prearranged with relevant school). Minimum Requirements & Person Specifications: · Practical teaching experience advantageous · Suitable qualification · Must be fluent in Afrikaans (home language) and English (second language) · Must be computer literate · Valid passport (Visas will be required and will be advantageous if this is already in place but is not a minimum requirement) · Must be able to structure learning programmes and create enjoyable educational experiences when sightseeing · The ideal candidate must have a positive, friendly and service orientated personality A market related salary package is offered. Do you need someone to care your parent/s, special needs person, Diabetic or loved one on a part time or as need be basis. I go to their residence and can help you attend to their needs. I am fully bilingual. Herewith a list of items I attend to. First and foremost, I can visit and keep them company and make them feel cared for. Drive them around to the doctor, hairdresser, shops, bank etc and assist with those appointments and chores. Arrange medication, packing and marking of it, and check on regularity of taking of it. I can plan meals, and set up a program for it. See that refrigerator, bins and other areas are hygienic and taken care of. Check that washing is done, bedding changed etc. Help with bathing, hair, nails and feet care. Pack and tidy where necessary. Can bring and oversee domestic help as needed. Diabetic care, Check and oversee meals, meal planning, medication, blood sugar record keeping. Inspect for wounds. Please enquire for any other items. Although I have no qualifications in the field, I have an 89 year old father and assisted him and my late mom for many years. I cared for my late husband during his battle with brain cancer, while running his business at the same time. I am empathetic and confident. I have raised 3 children, and ran a household with a huge garden, pets and had my own business. I qualified as a beauty and health therapist, can care for nails, feet and do some hair. I measure blood pressure and test blood sugar levels. I am very hardworking, diligent and responsible. I am a great cook, love people and am empathetic. I am a great organizer and a very methodical person.
