Reporting of such to the control office and recording of such on the relevant forms; Adhere to RIMS protocols and procedures; Booking of vehicle scheduled maintenance / service; Ensure Patrol vehicle is kept clean and neat at all times; Endangered Wildlife Trust data collection and removal of roadkill animals; Collecting and transportation of mail from various Plazas to Head Office; Parking of vehicle in a protective way behind the scene as first line of scene safety; Setting up of traffic accommodation measures according to relevant protocols and scene situation; Make preliminary assessment of the scene; Provide situation report to Comms Office; Communicate with other role-players on scene and provide assistance where required; Make full assessment of the following and provide the feedback to the exact location of the incident (Route, Direction, Location) Lanes (How many and which lanes are affected) Vehicles (How many and what type) Patients / Injuries (How many, extent of injuries, entrapments) Hand over scene when Authorities arrive on-scene; Provide input where needed regarding the management of the scene; Keep in constant communication with Comms Office providing them with scene updates; Complete all relevant forms (MVC and or Indemnity) with a much information as possible; Take necessary photos;.
