Machine Setter wanted - Injection & Compression Moulding technologies. Tasks will include but will not be limited to: Plan and prepare tooling and take responsibility for re-setting activities of equipment on your shift and complete tasks to set targets. Perform QA tests and inspections on first off and last offs. Conduct pre-operating inspections to determine operational fitness and safety of machines. Ensure all production documentation relating to manufacturing is available and correctly completed for each shift Actively engage in continuous improvement practices. Take responsibility for relevant operating tools and equipment and report on any problems experienced with these during the production process. Perform relevant routine First Line Maintenance according to defined checklists and safety standards. Operate any machine / combination of machines at or below my current level. Participate in departmental meetings in which shift feedback and improvement activities are discussed to reduce mould and machine break downs. This position requires a 3 shift pattern to be worked.
