Port Elizabeth - Key Performance Areas: • Responsible for a stable production plan by optimally utilising production facilities and employees. • The demand of products produced on relevant lines are managed effectively. • Incorrect Master data and BOM’s reported and corrected. • Create and manage production order reservations • Production declared technically complete – TECO. • Generate 4 week SAP production plan. • Assist with pack upgrades and change requests. • Determine planned production as needed. • Calculate the capacity needed by the production line and the shifts required • Assist with the budget/ forecast processes • Timeous distribution of production plans • Production orders are released timeously. • Daily production feedback meetings are attended. • Active involvement in the missing parts management process • Effective re-scheduling of production lines as a result of breakdowns or other quality related problems. • Compile accurate printing plans • Provide monthly consolidation of actuals vs. forecast • Liaise with bulk supply plants/departments. • Optimise bulk planning to prevent an overstock situation. • Manage bulk planning • Liaise with reverse logistics to ensure returnable material is on site in time for packaging. • Confirm with Transport to ensure efficient moving of returnables. • Ensure compliance to the QMS (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BRC, IFS, FSSC, Organic, ISO 17025, SANS 1841) • Ensure compliance to all relevant policies, procedures, work instruction and SOPs at all times Ensure that unsafe conditions are reported and rectified. • Assist in achieving department and site business plans. • Support and encourage the values of the company. • Actively encourage innovations within the team • Actively involved in Problem solving methodology Minimum Requirements: • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Production Planning/MRP environment • Relevant Tertiary qualification in Planning/Logistics/Supply Chain Management • Proven record in production planning environment • Relevant experience of SAP production planning. • Excellent analytical skills and problem solving abilities • Proven Computer literacy in MS Office/ SAP / Excel • Sound knowledge of supply chain concepts • Experience in a SAP R3/R4 environment (including APO) • Ability to work under pressure and to work independently & accurately. • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities • Ability to influence others outside his/her own sphere of control

To assist the current permanent Planning Analyst. These duties include but are not limited to: KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Description Fruit supply - Supply Sourcing with RSA Production volumes for current/next week pack plans, VSP and 4-week forecast - Revise Sourcing files throughout the week as changes to supply happen - Create, consolidate and distribute the RSA supply information each week to the RSA team and Demand Planning Logistics - Create and distribute the Production Logistics Plan (LP) to the Logistics team - Revise Logistics Plan throughout the week as changes to supply or pack plans happen - Conduct the consolidated logistics plan review meeting to create bookings for Production and Procurement LP Planned vs Actuals - Track pallets produced vs the logistics plan each week for Customer supply chain - Track tons produced each week on the pre-varieties for Demand Planning - Supply Logistics with year to date volumes against budget each week Material Planning - Ensure that the materials and service planning methodology used is adequate for our operation and aligned with industry standard - Be involved with the daily/weekly materials planning - Validate the annual and 4-week carton forecast to ensure that it is in line with the demand plan Qualifications and Experience: · Industrial Engineering or any other tertiary qualification. · Production planning experience. · Analytical minded. · Must we willing to work long hours during the peak of our season: May – October. · Fixed-term contract from October 2021. ROLE: SETTER Sector: Automotive Industry - Plastics Injection Moulding Location: East London, South Africa Employment Type: full Time Equity: The appointment will be made in line with the company's equity terms. Experience: 6 years Salary Package: TBA Assessment: **All shortlisted applicants will be required to undergo assessments process /testing Education: Compulsory NQF level 4 in SETTING PLASTICS INJECTION MOULDING (** Proven track record) Matric 6 years setting experience in a plastic injection moulding environment/industry DUTIES MACHINES: Start-up of machine at the beginning of the shift Attend to process problems on machines Ensure that machines are operating at optimum cycle time, consistent with quality requirements Correctly fit all water and hydraulic hoses as per setting as per setting sheet for the part/s. Set up machine and tool using the setting sheet for the part/s. Obtaining 1st off approval prior to commencement of Production. Authorising the COC for the part by way of signature. TOOLS: Setting tools in accordance with priority plan and process work instructions Assess last –off against first –off at the end of each production/tool change Report any necessary tool repair requirements to the Tool Controller Follow the daily Production Plan for the changing of tools or instruction from Planner. Installation of the tool into machine must be done within the allocated time. Placement of non-running tools in the correct area with the last off positioned on top. Carry out problem escalation procedure when M/C or tool problems occur. STAFF: Responsible for ensuring that operators understand quality requirements as per work instruction Ensure effective communication with other shifts to ensure smooth running of plant. SCRAP: Implement action plans/corrective action with regards to scrap control where necessary SAFETY - HOUSEKEEPING Ensure high level of housekeeping and plant maintenance Obey all company rules and regulations at all times, i.e. Safety, Quality, Environmental, Housekeeping etc. Attend to and resolve any non-conformances related to Quality or escalate problems.
