Our equipment range is broad, and the nature of breakdowns/installations/services can be anything. When equipment comes in for repairs, technicians need to know and be able to identify and fix problems. The working hours are Monday to Friday, 08h00-17h00 for CPT. Due to the nature of our business, being in the food industry, overtime is worked, and they can sometimes only see restaurants at night to install/service, or at weekends for breakdowns. They will travel also. We do pay overtime. We run regular training workshops with our technicians to upskill and train them on new equipment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES To service, repair, install, and maintain catering equipment. Equipment includes stoves, ovens, fridges, freezers, various small equipment, and gas equipment. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Minimum Requirements: Qualified Electrician/Refrigeration Technician. Minimum 5 years of catering equipment experience, and knowledge in Gas, Electrical, and Refrigeration. Strong technical abilities. Good customer orientation. Must have a valid driver’s license and passport. Must be able to travel. We do not have an admin branch in these regions, you will have to work from home. We need technicians that are reliable and trustworthy. They need a safe place to store the vehicle and keep the spares safe. We will send you job cards etc electronically and they need to be able to receive it on their phones and go action the jobs. They MUST be experienced in our industry and be able to hit the ground running. We will bring them up for a 2-week training period to learn our procedures, but we cannot teach you how to fix a machine. They must have a formal qualification or trade-in electrical or refrigeration.
