Proactively reduce breakdowns, ensure effective plant preventative maintenance and plant improvements to deliver above target plant reliability. Overview and assess planned maintenance activities to verify that it is carried out effectively. Physically observe maintenance team on planned maintenance tasks when required. Review PM reports and schedule and revise frequencies and plan interventions to prevent breakdowns. Provide input into major breakdowns and analyse all breakdowns with maintenance team to determine root cause and determine requirements to implementation of corrective/preventive measures.
