These are exceptional speakers, in mint condition, at a fraction of their new price. Review from SoundstageAccess: “The Polk LSiM705 is a very good loudspeaker that, at $2999.90/pair, is also a high-value bargain, especially in terms of craftsmanship, build quality, and pleasing visual design. I found it also to be, more often than not, a very good-sounding speaker that could conceivably benefit from more power and/or biamping, which I was unable to provide. The LSiM705 should be auditioned either in a stereo pair or as part of one of Polk’s home-theater systems. Not only is it not a starter speaker — the LSiM705 might be a final destination for the audiophile seeking a neutral-sounding floorstander of modest size whose looks match its fine sound.” b'/xc2/xa0' Specs: Qty Included: 1 Availability: US Height: 47″ (119.38 cm) Width without Base: 8.31″ (21.11 cm) Depth without Base: 14.38″ (36.53 cm) Weight: 78 lbs (35.38 kg) Width with Base: 9.25″ (23.5 cm) Depth with Base: 16.25″ (41.28 cm) Driver Enclosure Type: Sealed Driver Complement: • (1) 3.25″ (8.26 cm) d (Round) Super Cell Aerated Polypropylene – Mid/Woofer • (2) 5″ (12.7 cm) d (Round) Super Cell Aerated Polypropylene – Midrange • (2) 7″ (17.78 cm) h x 5″ (12.7 cm) w (Oval) Cassini oval, Super Cell Aerated Polypropylene – Subwoofer • (1) 1″ (2.54 cm) d (Round) Enhanced Ring Radiator – Tweeter Enclosure Type: Mid-High Array Enclosure Type: Sealed Enclosure Type: Subwoofer Enclosure Type: Dual PowerPort bass venting Total Frequency Response: 22 Hz → 40,000 Hz Lower and Upper -3dB Limits: 42 Hz → 30,000 Hz Type: Orth Crossover Design Midrange/Woofer Crossover Frequency: 100 Hz Tweeter/Midrange Crossover Frequency: 2800 Hz A V Receiver Crossover Settings: (40 Hz) Recommended Amplifier Power Per Channel: 20 watts → 250 watts

Lively and dynamic sound with a big and powerfull sound for such a small speaker, clear midrange and great build and design (real rosewood veneer) b'/xc2/xa0' I´ve heard these speakers 5 years ago on the local dealer and was impressed. This is one of the best speakers i´ve ever heard, much better than the 601 and 602 and also better than the 805 (more musical and lively). The only reason i didn´t buy them was the lack of the deepest bass. I´ve always been using floorstanders, but was forced to sell them because of my new small listningroom. And offcourse i decied to buy the CDM 2´s, and get a pair for only $100 second hand. And after been listning too them in a half year, I´ve get used too them and don´t think I missing something in the deepest bass. I´ve been compared them with the CDM 1´s and the CDM 2´s were superior. The CDM 1´s were slow in the bass and much leeser dynamic, okay the midrange was a bit clearer but in all other terms the CDM 2´s were the best. I´ve listning to the new version CDM 2 SE, and they were disapointing, slow and undynamic like the CDM 1´s (and the majority of all Bb'&'W speakers for that matter). The only problem is the treble, which can sound harsh, especially with S-sounds. (The first pair I borrow 5 years ago were not having this problem) Conclusion: One of the most lively speakers Bb'&'W have made and for the price at $400 (in Denmark) I give them five stars. Get a pair second hand (don´t buy the SE´s!!) and you can´t ask for more.
