Almost 10 500L per month of purified old engine oil and KFC oil is used to fuel the furnaces. Additionally, Ngwenya Glass has installed 550 solar panels which subsidise 40% of their electricity usage. For the past 30 years, Ngwenya Glass has paid a percentage of their worldwide sales to the Mkhaya Game Reserve and they also support numerous orphanages and charities in Eswatini and South Africa.
