It is ordered on demand from our supplier and is usually dispatched within 4 - 10 working days When her beloved small dog died, Bel Mooney was astonished at the depth of her ongoing sorrow. Sharing her loss online and in a newspaper article brought a deluge of responses, spurring Bel to explore these feelings further. Why do humans mourn pets? Can animals themselves grieve - and do they have souls? In Goodbye, Pet & See You in Heaven, Bel sets off on an emotional journey to learn more about pet bereavement. She is astounded by inexplicable 'signs' of her dog's spirit, watches Bonnie's ashes being turned into glass, talks to experts and discusses the mysterious enduring energy of love. She discovers why Ancient Egyptians mummified animals and what different faiths, myths, writers and scientists have to say. She also looks back over her own life and reflects on lessons learned from companion animals - and from wildlife too. As informative as it is deeply moving, Goodbye, Pet is an intensely personal, uplifting look at the love we share with pets, both in life and afterwards. Enriched by heartfelt stories and inspirational words, it is a book to be treasured by anyone who has ever loved an animal. Features Summary A deeply moving exploration of feelings humans extend to their pets, by one of Britain's best-loved agony aunts. Book still in a very good condition - Gina was an amazing woman, according to her orbituary. >>> Rachel wrote " I'm not sure how to categorize this book. It's part memoir, part investigative journalism, part nostalgia, with a handful of recipes, sprinkled here and there like party favors. Mallet divides the book into five sections: eggs, cheese, beef, kitchen gardens, and fish. I liked the egg section best and the beef section least. The focus of this book is taste--not health, economics, or environmentalism--and I found the focus refreshing. There's no guilt involved when you're only concerned about what tastes best. The memoir sections were fun, especially the descriptions of the food department at Harrod's during and after WWII." · *N.B.* If you buy more than one book from me on the same day you only pay R 6 extra postage for each of the additional books - See what else I have to offer, it might just be worth your while.

Be Inspired. Then Ride The Wave Of That Inspiration. The inspiration behind combining these 40 weeks together as one course - life coaching gives you the motivation and inspiration to design the life you prefer and the project management gives you the courage to put your inspiration into a workable plan and design the plan in such a way that the chunks are small enough to take action. You may have a large “life goal” and feel overwhelmed to achieve it. This is where the project management comes in, it gives you the information on how to break your large goal into smaller goals and into even smaller parts to make a “Work Breakdown Schedule”. The WBS makes it easier for you to take action, as you now can 'see' what has to be done next. Sometimes procrastination is a good thing. The planning phase of a project is when you are working on “what needs to be done when?” and once you have completed your planning, you can get your plan into action. This gets us to the reason for the combination, life coaching is for the motivation and project management is for planning and action. This course is setup in such a way that these two are integrated into a 40 week intensive e-course. Success e-course - Life Coaching and Project Management Combination content summery 21 Weekly Life Coaching Sessions - every second week. This includes the life coaching session pages, the life coach in our pocket chapter and 26 recorded visualizations to accompany the written material. In these 21 weeks you can tailor your life to be what you prefer it to be. 19 Weekly Project Management Lessons - work out how to divide your “Life Goals” into manageable chunks and set an implementation plan in place. This included the written material for that week, the template of the documents required and the Open Office and Open Project software. On this link you will find a summery of every week, to give you a good overview of what you will be “getting into”: www.alkemras.co.za

It is ordered on demand from our supplier and is usually dispatched within 7 - 11 working days More than a million Jews escaped east from Nazi occupied Poland to Soviet occupied Poland. There they suffered extreme deprivation in Siberian gulags and "Special Settlements" and then, once "liberated," journeyed to the Soviet Central Asian Republics. The majority of Polish Jews who survived the Nazis outlived the war in Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan; some of them continued on to Iran. The story of their suffering, both those who died and those who survived, has rarely been told. Following the footsteps of her father, one of a thousand refugee children who traveled to Iran and later to Palestine, Dekel fuses memoir with historical investigation in this account of the all-but-unknown Jewish refuge in Muslim lands. Along the way, Dekel reveals the complex global politics behind this journey, discusses refugee aid and hospitality, and traces the making of collective identities that have shaped the postwar world-the histories nations tell and those they forget.
