We have been awarded a 5-year contract to for the logistics and transport of coal for the export market. We are ceding this opportunity to somebody to enter the market and venture capitalist for the purpose of job creation. The contract will be separated into an initial 2-year term with a warranted extension for a further 3 years provided the minimum requirements are met. The contracting mine is based in the Witbank Coalfields in Mpumalanga and offloaded within a 124km radius of the mine. The contract has an allocation for 10, 34-ton side tippers to cover an average distance of 300km per truck per day over 10 variable routes. Payable rate to the contractor is R1-30 per ton per km, netting (on extreme minimum requirement) R2 892 000-00 turnover with a minimum profit on individual profiling of R562 000-00. Terms of purchase: 1. Purchaser must show proof of affordability. 2. Purchaser must show proof of ability to service the terms of the contract. 3. Contract transfer upon payment reflecting in conveyancer's account. 4. Contract will be sold as “voetstoots”. Note – We can assist with sub-contractor details upon request. Purchase price: R8 000 000-00 for the initial 2-year term payable on signing an agreement of sale. R7 000 000-00 when the 3-year extension is awarded (when minimum requirements have been met).
