We are looking for a General Manager;Workshops and Technical Services to be responsible for 7 mine site workshops.Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and having Site Plant Managers reporting to the position The requirements of an ideal candidate will be: BSc Mechanical Engineering or equivalent 10 years experience as a Site Plant Manager dealing in heavy mining equipment. Strong commercial and analytical capabilities over and above hands on technical acumen. From an opencast mining background ideally gained at Mining House,OEM or Contractor level. This is a Senior Management position that will require 8 days per month visiting workshops around the country and in neighboring territories.
