Dinner and overnight at Marc’s Camp Day 3: After breakfast you travel on the open-sided Game Viewer to the Orpen Gate of Kruger. The added elevation and absence of windows allow for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. Your qualified guide will show you various animals, large and small, that frequent this outstanding wildlife paradise. The zone of Kruger you visit has the highest percentage population of giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and impala that attract numerous lions and other predators. Dinner and overnight at Marc’s Camp.Day 4: We enjoy an early morning Bush Walk accompanied by an armed ranger. Ngwenya Lodge is located along the Crocodile River and southern border of Kruger National Park and has very easy access via the nearby Crocodile Bridge gate. The unit is on the river and enjoys one of the best locations at the lodge. It sleeps six and has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two singles plus a sleeper couch in the lounge. If you don't know Ngwenya it really is a fantastic place and our only regret is circumstances preventing us using the unit ourselves this year. If you know Ngwenya the unit is roughly midway between the middle and lower hides and you will know how fabulous that is. We have had some great sightings from the balcony. Trees Too Guest Lodge is a family-run guest lodge with restaurant (not self catering) just 8 km from the Crocodile Bridge Gate of the Kruger Park. We are also close to the Mozambique and Swaziland borders for day trips. We have eight en-suite rooms of varying sizes, for one to four guests sharing. The units are mainly set beneath cool thatch with air-conditioning, minibars, tea and coffee-making facilities and TVs. We have a small licensed bar and restaurant serving high-quality fresh food from a varied menu (pre book a table!), so we do not have self-catering facilities. Relax by the sparkling swimming pool in our tropical gardens. Play badminton on our own court or let us arrange your safari drives and bush walks with qualified rangers. We can also arrange elephant back safaris, microlight flights, day trips to Maputo or beach trips, fishing, golf, horse riding and quad biking. We do require 24-hour notice for most activities.
