Drive to a remote part of the Balule Game Reserve, where you enjoy a 4-hour Bush Walk. Your experienced field guide will lead you through the bush. Return to Tremisana for brunch. At 14h00 we offer high tea. At around 15h00 we go on an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Marc’s Camp Day 3: After breakfast you travel on the open-sided Game Viewer to the Orpen Gate of Kruger. The added elevation and absence of windows allow for excellent viewing and photographic opportunities. Your qualified guide will show you various animals, large and small, that frequent this outstanding wildlife paradise. The zone of Kruger you visit has the highest percentage population of giraffe, zebra, wildebeest and impala that attract numerous lions and other predators. Dinner and overnight at Marc’s Camp.Day 4: We enjoy an early morning Bush Walk accompanied by an armed ranger. Chestnut Bush Lodge is situated in a game reserve bordering the Kruger National Park. This reserve is host to four of the Big 5, plus all of the general game. With no fences, the animals are free to roam freely throughout the reserve. We share a border with the Crocodile River and the southern border of the Kruger National Park. Ngwenya Lodge is located along the Crocodile River and southern border of Kruger National Park and has very easy access via the nearby Crocodile Bridge gate. The unit is on the river and enjoys one of the best locations at the lodge. It sleeps six and has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other two singles plus a sleeper couch in the lounge. If you don't know Ngwenya it really is a fantastic place and our only regret is circumstances preventing us using the unit ourselves this year. If you know Ngwenya the unit is roughly midway between the middle and lower hides and you will know how fabulous that is. We have had some great sightings from the balcony. Amadube Lodge is a self-catering house located in Marloth Park, on the doorstep of the Kruger National Park. Surrounded by bush veld, it is not uncommon to find wildlife roaming around freely.
