DUTIES: Desktop Support & IT Operations: Provide first-line technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, maintain IT inventory, and manage support tickets efficiently. AI & Emerging Technology Support: Assist users in adopting AI tools and automation technologies to enhance daily workflows. Networking & Connectivity: Troubleshoot network connectivity issues, support VPN users, and ensure proper network configuration. Cloud & Security Management: Manage user accounts in Microsoft Azure, enforce cybersecurity measures, and uphold IT security best practices. User Support & Training: Train users on IT systems, maintain documentation, and assist with IT setup for new employees. REQUIRED SKILLS Experience in desktop support and IT troubleshooting. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VPN, Wi-Fi troubleshooting). Experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and MacOSX. Familiarity with cloud-based IT environments and remote desktop tools. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Relevant IT diploma or degree (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science). Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, or CCNA (advantageous). 1-3 years of experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role. The proposed salary for the role is R18,000 CTC per month, employer has the option to offer any market related salary considering the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
