Size 54 Frame Material Steel There are many steel bikes around, but this one truly possesses the X-factor! Super fast on tar, but comes to life on gravel. Specs are self-explanatory. Suspension stem is a treat on corrugated roads, and the cable-actuated hydraulics can stop an elephant! I need to sell (don't you feel like crying?) because I've overextended on a plush dual suspension carbon beauty... I live in Sedgefield, so you can collect, I can deliver in my X-trail (just not to oil rigs in the Gulf) or we can put this baby in a box (box will be provided FREE of charge - NOT R600 for a box.) We can chat via the Hub, WhatsApp or email. Schalk - 082 413 8363 schalklida@gmail.com Ps - The fork is NOT the wrong way round. According to Cy Turner (founder of Cotic) the odd positioning "distributes braking force in a more linear manner". Size is a 54. Definitely not a Small or an Extra Large. I'm 1.77 & it feels a good fit. Stylish and sleek vintage Dutch commuter bicycle in Jaguar green. Perfect for a Seapoint promenade cycle or for a vintage shopping spree down Obs Lower Main. Just imagine you in your sunglasses, going slightly faster than is comfortable down Kloof Street, doggo in the front basket, and your picnic stuff on that back shelf-thing above the wheel. You're protected from Tigers Milk's Thursday night residues by the noice mud guards, and can alert pesky cars and too-slow-pedestrians of your presence with the dynamo powered front and back lights (that's right - batteries are a thing of the past with this vintage bike: you power the lights with your pedals, baby). Your friends at Blondies comment on how rad your bike is. You reply, "this old thing? I got it on bikehub." (not a paid promotion) You don't do the usual - which is why you enjoy the fact that your bike has an internal gear system, back-pedal brakes AND hand brakes, which are all great things because (insert reason here). It's vintage, but in that corduroy jacket kind of way - which is exactly why its the ideal look for your bicycle for right now. The current owner (who is writing in the third person) can vouch for its ideal condition - running smooth with a hint of history. They had an ambitious Christmas wish to get into cycling, but later realised it wasn't actually their thing. It's currently sitting in their 5th floor flat (adjacent to the mid-century table and chairs, ofc), burdened with potential and eagerly awaiting a new owner to enjoy its freedom, storage capacity, and resemblance to an old Jag.
