DISPOSITION • Good interpersonal skills. • Possess the ability to work in a team with other therapists, doctors and nurses. • Must be an adaptable/flexible individual who is comfortable in working in a dynamic environment. • Be dynamic and able to prioritise your own workload. • Available to work on a weekend roster / public holidays on rotation as part of your contracted hours. • Understand physical rehabilitation and is excited by the challenges brought by it. CAREGIVER / NURSE REQUIRED to rotate shifts 3 days/nights on and then off. To live in during these 3 days and care for elderly lady recovering from illness, doing caregiving, laundry, meal preparation, medication management, bathing and generally keeping her company. She has all her mental faculties so is cognivately fine. She has occupational therapy daily and a full time live in caregiver, who needs to rotate shifts to be relieved. Requirements: Current AHPRA registration or eligibility to register. Minimum 5 years of experience in an aged care, geriatric, or residential care setting. Bachelors degree in Nursing (or equivalent). For internationally qualified nurses, qualifications will be assessed for equivalency to Australian standards. Strong communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team. Experience in dementia care and palliative care (preferred). English language proficiency as per AHPRA requirements (e.g., IELTS, OET, PTE Academic). Registered with SANC. Willing and able to relocate to Australia. Documents Required for Immigration: Valid Passport. Degree/Diploma, including full transcript, with English as the primary language of instruction. Official document showing clinical hours completed during tertiary education. SANC certificate and proof of renewal. Proof of English proficiency, demonstrating English as the main language of instruction in high school, tertiary education, and at the current workplace. Key Responsibilities: Provide holistic, patient-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and quality of life. Assess and develop individualised care plans based on residents medical and personal needs. Administer medications, injections, and IV therapy, while monitoring side effects and reactions. Assist with mobility support, wound management, and pressure injury prevention. Implement infection prevention and control measures to ensure a safe environment for all residents. Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and dietitians to optimise patient health. Provide support for residents with dementia and palliative care, ensuring comfort and dignity at all times. Respond promptly to emergencies and rapidly deteriorating conditions, escalating cases as needed. Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records in accordance with legal and regulatory standards. Provide education and emotional support to families and caregivers regarding aged care needs. Supervise and mentor enrolled nurses and care assistants to ensure best practices are maintained.
