VACANCY SALES AGENT Applicants are invited to apply for the above-mentioned position based in Grahamstown. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: The Sales Agent will be responsible for answering incoming sales calls, establishing client needs, upselling to existing customers, and taking new clients through the lead to receipt process. As one of the primary and often first points of contact, a large part of the job is maintaining good customer relationships, accurate communication, and product knowledge. Key Performance Area would include, but are not limited to: Answer inbound calls Conduct desktop feasibility for customer (Fibre and Wireless) Capture customer information accurately Assess customers connectivity requirement Quote customer based on assessment Arrange site surveys where required Ensure customer order is booked and processed Process upgrade requests/contact current customers to upsell Manage active leads and close old quotes Generate Invoice accurately Ad hoc tasks given by management Attend and assist with Marketing events The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

Previous ISP experience is highly advantageous Responsibilities: Process FTTH customer service and technical service enquiries through inbound calls and provide end to end service Must be able to communicate with customers professionally and articulately Must be able to present benefits/opportunities of the product or service in an effective manner Identify and respond to the customer needs from all demographics, delivering a high quality, professional service to these customers Exercise appropriate soft skills when dealing with difficult customers Ensure correct listening skills and probing techniques are used to establish relevant information Be able to effectively communicate with the team leader and team members Ensure that customers are informed as to the progress of queries logged but not resolved Ensure that the customers are called, and the resolution is confirmed before queries are closed Ensure that progress of every query logged is monitored until resolution Performing any ad hoc tasks as instructed.
