Gcc engineer

Leading mining company seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to be based in the North West! Requirements include a National Diploma/Degree in Engineering, GCC Mines and Works, Post Graduate qualification such as MBA, MBL or MDP.Professionally registered with Engineering Council of South Africa.At least 3 4 years experience post GCC Mines and Works is essential!

Minimum Requirements: - Grade 12 /Matric certificate or Equivalent required - Engineering National Diploma/Equivalent NQF 6 - Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) - 6-8 Years Engineering experience within the mining Sector - 2 Years Management Experience Advantageous: - Project Management Experience - Registered as a Candidate with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) - Engineering Maintenance within the plant environment experience - Degree or NQF 7 - Mineral and Mining Development program Skills and knowledge: - Technical Analysis Skills - Mechanical and Civil Engineering Application knowledge - Asset Management and Optimisation skills - Project Management knowledge and skills - Safety, Health, Environment and Risk Management Knowledge Physical / Legal Requirements: - Fit for duty/Certificate of Fitness - Clear Credit/Criminal Record - Code 8 Drivers License

Objective The incumbent will be responsible for the maintenance of the Refinery Complex. This includes all fixed plant installations and mobile equipment. The role also carries legal responsibility in terms of the South African Mine Health and Safety Act. Qualifications and Experience * Degree or National Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. * Two years' experience as a qualified GCC Engineer. * Government Certificate of Competency, Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) for Mines. * Both fixed plant and mobile maintenance backgrounds would be advantageous * 6 years or more experience in mining maintenance and strategic planning, organization development and leadership. * Clear understanding of the Refinery processes and related acts. * People and budget management experience.
