First pony riding

John is a beautiful 10 year old gelding. Measuring 13.3hh, he is hardy and full of character. Not suitable as a first pony, but better suited to a confident child rider. He's happiest bitless, and has started doing cross country recently. This sweet boy has loads of potential, which will be best brought out by a good rider and instructor combination

Bapsie is a Whelsh ponie, 12 years old. She was the first pony of all our girls. Lovely docile temperament. Very tame. Our girls have outgrown her and she is in need of a loving, caring home.

We bring him out of the field and even if not been ridden for months, we know he will be safe to put a strange kid on him and give a riding lessons on. He has just never put a foot wrong. He has also taken many kids out on outrides. We have been using him as a lead rein pony on the farm for our guests, and have even put babies on his back. My work rider rides him bareback and with a neck rein out on outrides. Frankie has good conformation with very correct legs and hooves, with a “leg on each corner”, a nice broad chest, a good neck, and a very kind eye. He is very straight and correct. Frankie has lived out his entire life and is a very easy keeper. Stands quietly for farrier and dentist, boxes easily and over all is just the easiest pony to handle.
