The relaxed atmosphere is often enough for our guest and with the latest communications technology in our rooms, you can be sure that your ideas don’t get lost in the rarefied Free State air. Our guest house has a total of 53 rooms including 23 Deluxe Rooms with king-size beds and four Executive Rooms with king-size beds. There are three Family Rooms with double and single beds, and we have four Self-catering Rooms and 19 Twin Rooms. We have three conference rooms; they are all fully equipped with TVs, flip charts, white screens, digital overhead projectors and air-conditioning. We host a lot of conferences and workshops and receive good feedback. We strive towards service excellence and professionalism. We have a lovely swimming pool area with a bar and restaurant, and there is ample off-street parking available. Kloof Lodge is a lovely Victorian mansion offering guests a comfortable stay and is centrally situated which makes it ideal for those who need to be in and around Bloemfontein in a stylish homely atmosphere. Guests have a choice of staying in one of the beautifully decorated Double Rooms or Executive Suites, each with an en-suite bathroom consisting of either a shower or bath. The Double Rooms are furnished with either a double bed or two three-quarter beds, while the Executive Suites are furnished with either a queen-size bed or double bed. Each room is equipped with a TV with DStv, a telephone, tea and coffee-making facilities and air-conditioning. Some of the rooms and suites also have fireplaces. Guests can enjoy lovely breakfasts and delicious meals in the 7 on Kellner Restaurant and Bar on the premises. Conference facilities are also available for up to 30 delegates. Bloemfontein has a variety of attractions and activities to offer. Guests can visit the city centre with all its historical buildings, the Naval Hill Nature Reserve or the Orchid House which holds the world’s largest collection of orchids.
