Main responsibilities and duties: 1) Client Liaison: Receiving enquiries/Sending out packages and information. * Site Visits/ Completion of info to build initial quote for sign off by Events Manager, sending out of initial quotes. 2) Assisting Events Manager in obtaining quotations for procurement 3) Overseeing Venue items and keeping control of stock / keeping a check on venues and surrounds and informing maintenance of any issues 4) Set up and Strike oversight of suppliers and assist with own set up plus make sure that Venue is ready and prepared. 5) On the day operations assistance of the actual event including actual liaison with outside co-ordinators and making sure all is in place from the Venue side. 6) Assistance with Operations at special Estate Events Job Type: Full-time

The SU Welcoming Programme is a campus wide programme that aims to welcome new students to the campus community. The overall aim of the programme is to create a welcoming culture and to set the basis for a successful SU student experience. The related function of the communications role is to ensure that all Welcoming and co-curricular events and programmes are promoted in the online environment. *Aim of the post:* The coordinator aims to coordinate, manage and align the internal programme offering around the Welcoming Programme to prepare and facilitate the training and evaluation related to the programme.
