These trousers are soft especially round the waist, length is good, you must make sure you get your child the correct size as the waist has a rubber band but it doesn’t stretch nor will you be able to tighten it. It’s good for daughter as she doesn’t like the way tight trousers feel around her waist, I got her 2 sizes which she’s been happy to keep
