You can set the device up manually by connecting the device directly to a computer or laptop using a LAN cable. Once the device is connected open a web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer etc) and type in http://192.168.0.1 or http://dlinkap in the top bar. Then follow the steps of the setup wizard. I can’t log in to set up the device? Set your laptop/PC on a static IP address in the 192.168.0.x range, and retry logging into the device. If the problem persists reset the DAP-1360 and try again. What is the difference between Repeater and Access Point? Repeater mode will connect wirelessly and extend the network further, while access point mode requires a cable connection from the main router to the DAP-1360.
