Caregiver position

Home based Caregiver wanted to assist disabled person. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following: Personal Care (dressing, grooming, bathing etc) Turning & bed positioning Managing Bladder & Bowel program. Assist with domestic tasks This is a night shift position. Accommodation will be provided where the employee can sleep while assistance is not needed. We are looking for a competent Caregiver to care for an elderly lady (80s) in a professional and compassionate manner. The ideal candidate will be patient, friendly and able to speak Afrikaans. Responsibilities; giving prescribed medication, assist with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.) Assist with personal care and hygiene. Prepare meals. Perform light housekeeping duties. Report any unusual incidents.
