The resultant 5 frame nuc swarms with laying queens are the offered for sale. How it works: Once our queen cells are ready, they are placed in 5-frame nucs where they emerge into the swarm. They are carefully monitored over the following 21 days to ensure mating has occurred and laying has begun. Thereafter, if brood is being produced in a satisfactory manner, the nucs are available for sale. We need 3 weeks notice for your swarm to be ready. You drop your clean brood box with roof and floor at the apiary and using our established frames with bees and queen, we settle them into the brood box.
