Specifications Material: Cast Iron Handle material: Wood Diameter: 26cm Features Heat source: Gas, Electric, Induction, Halogen, Ceramic Glass, Open Flame Care Instructions Follow these steps to ensure your cookware stays clean and increasingly seasoned: Allow cookware to cool enough to handle, but still quite warm Hand wash with hot water & salt or mild soap Use a towel to dry thoroughly (important!) Rub a thin layer of oil inside the cookware & on the rim (Palm, Flaxseed, Coconut, Canola or other) Place on a stove (or in an oven) & heat up until lightly smoking Turn off the heat. Carefully use a paper towel to wipe off excess oil (this avoids a sticky surface) Once completely cool, store in a cool, dry place How to restore cast iron If there is rust or gunk, first scrub the whole cookware with a steel wool sponge Using a scouring pad, wash with soap & hot water Use a towel to dry thoroughly (important!) Place on a hot stove (or in an oven) to completely evaporate any excess moisture Rub a thin layer of oil all over the cookware, inside & outside (Palm, Flaxseed, Coconut, Canola or other) Once the oil is rubbed in thoroughly, use a clean paper towel to wipe off excess oil (this avoids stickiness) Place cookware in an oven at 230°C to 260°C and bake for 1 hour Depending on the type of oil you use, it can get quite smokey Allow to cool completely & store in cool, dry place

Earthy, industrial-looking oak bed This modern oak bed was always going to be a looker. The metal trend's nailed too, thanks to the sturdy metal base. The solid slat base allows for a low-profile mattress without box spring and there's room under the bed for storage baskets. The back of the headboard is fully finished so the bed doesn't have to be placed against the wall. Our Motto furniture range will add a luxe feel to your bedroom for sure. This oak bed is a great match with our Motto pedestals. We only use engineered oak for our furniture items because we love the texture of that wood type in combination with the different available finishes. Engineered oak is a solid timber top (0.3 mm of solid oak) in conjunction with a multi-layer MDF base. Thanks to our clever construction, our engineered wood tops do not expand and contract to the same extent as solid wood tops. But our engineered top’s really special feature is the fact that it’s topped off with solid oak, making the end result look just like solid wood but for a much better price! We receive weekly questions why we are using engineered oak and not solid oak throughout. To start with, the price is 400% cheaper than a solid oak top. It is better resistant to the South African climate with no risk of cupping, bowing, cracking of the top and it is easy in maintenance. Do we need to say more? We made a Q&A around engineered oak. Care construction Sun damage Engineered wood is sensitive to light. We'd recommend that you avoid leaving anything on the surfaces for the first 6-8 weeks, if they're exposed to sunlight. This should help you avoid any marks or rings appearing if the furniture lightens in the sun. Cleaning A damp (never soaking wet) cloth will do it. Dry the surfaces thoroughly afterwards. Both wood and engineered wood can be damaged by liquids, so if you spill anything on it, be sure to wipe it dry immediately. If you need to remove any stains, go gently – use mild soap and warm water. Please note: this unit requires assembly. Estimated time to assemble: 10-15 minutes. We also offer an assembly service for R899. Made: This product is proudly handcrafted in South Africa. Note: Actual product colours may slightly vary from colours shown online due to screen variations, image lighting and fabric availability. Please ask a sales representative for colour swatches and fabric samples should you be unsure. Decor items, mattresses and or bedding are not included with our products unless explicitly stated.
