Required is an experienced individual that will work closely with the shop manager in supervising the operations at an auto parts retail shop. Duties: · Assist the manager with staff performance evaluations. · Identify current and future trends that appeal to consumers. · Ensure merchandise is clean and ready to be displayed. · Maintain inventory and ensure items are in stock. · Ensure promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards. · Ensure standards for quality, customer service and health and safety are met. · Monitor local competitors. · Maintain store's cleanliness and health and safety measures. · Organize and distribute staff schedules. · Handle customer questions, complaints, and issues. Specifications: · Must have at least two years of demonstrated sales/supervisor experience in a retail set up Excellent communications skills Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and selling skills are required. DESCRIPTION: The position will be responsible for final finishing and aligning of panels on composite and/or steel vehicle body, boot, bonnet, and doors. The work must be done according to a given specification and / or quality standards as required for paint shop approval. THE INCUMBENTS’ PRIMARY DUTIES WILL BE TO: General: (but not limited to the following following) · Applying and sanding body filler on composite or metal vehicle bodies. · Should be able to fulfil the function of metal finishing on metal vehicle bodies. REQUIREMENTS: 1 Proven experience as a Panel Beater. 2 Previous experience in finishing composite cars would be highly advantageous. 3 Good manual skills, accuracy, and precision. 4 Physically capable of performing primary duties. 5 Good communication skills (verbal and written). 6 Contactable references.
